Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026 · Jessiboo LLC d/b/a Traveltainment℠
This Privacy Policy describes how Jessiboo LLC ("Traveltainment℠," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Traveltainment℠ kiosk advertising network. This policy applies to providers, advertisers, and other business users of the platform. Passenger-facing data practices are addressed through separate disclosures provided at point of service.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Providers who deploy Traveltainment℠ tablets in their non-emergency medical transportation vehicles
- Advertisers who purchase ad placements, SDOH survey sponsorships, or programmatic inventory through the platform
- Visitors to traveltainment.app who submit inquiry forms, sign up for fleet partnership, or request media kits
Passengers riding in vehicles equipped with Traveltainment℠ tablets are governed by separate notices presented at point of service. This policy does not address passenger data practices.
2. Information We Collect
Business contact information
When you sign up as a provider, advertiser, or request a media kit, we collect: name, company name, business email, phone number, business address, fleet size (for providers), and zones/zip codes of interest (for advertisers).
Account and authentication data
For users of the admin hub, advertiser portal, and provider portal: email, password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text), session tokens, and login timestamps.
Platform usage data
Aggregate impression counts, campaign performance metrics, payout history, and ad placement records associated with your account.
Operational tablet data
Tablets deployed under your provider account generate aggregated data including impression counts, GPS-derived ride density (with 0.15-mile offset applied at the server using the HIPAA Safe Harbor de-identification methodology), language preferences, and verification tier counts. This data is associated with your fleet for billing and payout purposes. No individual passenger is identified.
3. The Traveltainment℠ Verification Engine — VISION AI
What VISION does: Tablets run an on-device machine learning model (Google MediaPipe selfie segmentation, via LiteRT) that detects whether a person-shaped silhouette is visible to the front-facing camera during ad playback. The detection runs at most once per 60-second interval; it is not a continuous video feed. When a silhouette is detected, that ad play is tagged with the highest verification tier (VISION) in our proof-of-play system.
What VISION does NOT do:
- It does not perform facial recognition
- It does not identify, classify, or characterize the person in any way
- It does not collect or store biometric identifiers as defined by BIPA, CCPA, or any state biometric statute
- It does not capture, transmit, or store images, video, or photographs
- It does not analyze age, gender, ethnicity, expression, or any personal attribute
- It does not work when the tablet is offline-faced, dimmed, or in standby
How it works: The camera feed is processed frame-by-frame entirely on the tablet hardware. The model outputs a single boolean signal — "person silhouette present, yes/no" — which is sent to our servers as a verification tier tag (one of four: MANIFEST, MOTION, INTERACTION, VISION). The underlying camera frames never leave the tablet and are never written to persistent storage.
Legal classification under CCPA. We have evaluated VISION under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the definition of "biometric information" in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(c). Because VISION returns only a binary presence signal, does not generate or store any biometric identifier, template, or face geometry record, and discards raw camera frames immediately after the in-memory determination is complete, we do not collect or process "biometric information" as that term is defined by CCPA. We provide this detailed disclosure because California regulators may evaluate the underlying capability of vision technology in addition to its actual data practices, and we want our disclosure to address both.
4. GPS and Location Data
Tablets report GPS coordinates to support market breakdown, heatmap visualization, and ride-density analytics. Before any GPS data leaves the tablet, we apply a randomized 0.15-mile (approximately 800 ft) offset to latitude and longitude. This offset is applied at the server before storage, using the HIPAA Safe Harbor de-identification methodology as a benchmark for protective standards. We do not store or display precise tablet coordinates.
5. SDOH (Social Determinants of Health) Survey Responses
The platform supports voluntary, opt-in survey questions presented to passengers during rides. These questions cover topics such as food security, transportation access, and medication access, sponsored by advertisers paying for response data.
Survey responses are voluntary, anonymous, and never tied to individual passenger identity. Responses are aggregated and reported to sponsoring advertisers in summary form (counts, percentages, language splits). Providers operating tablets that surface sponsored SDOH questions earn a per-response payout.
6. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
- Operate the platform, including authenticating users, processing applications, and shipping tablets
- Calculate advertiser billing and provider payouts
- Provide aggregated, de-identified analytics to advertisers in their portal dashboards
- Communicate with you about your account, including welcome messages, onboarding emails, and billing notices via Mailgun
- Improve the platform, the verification engine, and reporting tools
- Comply with legal obligations
7. How We Share Information
We share information only as follows:
- Advertisers receive aggregated, de-identified performance metrics for their own campaigns: impressions, verification tier counts, response totals, market breakdowns, and ride-density heatmaps. They do not receive raw GPS, individual ride records, or passenger-identifying data.
- Providers see their own earnings, payout history, and tablet performance in their portal.
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, email delivery via Mailgun, payment processing) receive only the information needed to perform their function.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect legal rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share individual passenger data with advertisers under any circumstances.
8. Data Retention
Account records are retained for the duration of your business relationship with Traveltainment℠, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal, accounting, and audit purposes. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely. Camera frames are never retained — they are processed in volatile memory on the tablet and discarded.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect platform data, including:
- Encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher for all platform communications
- Encryption at rest for hosted databases containing account, payout, and aggregated tablet data
- Bcrypt-hashed passwords (passwords are never stored in plain text)
- JWT-based session authentication for the admin hub, advertiser portal, and provider portal
- Server-side GPS offsetting applied to all coordinate data before storage
- Access logging for systems handling account and platform operational data
- Periodic reviews of platform security controls and incident response procedures
No system is perfectly secure. We work continuously to improve our protections and to respond to evolving threats.
10. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your business account information by emailing the contact below. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
11. Children's Data
The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the platform, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date at the top of this page, and active platform users will be notified by email when changes affect their account.
